About Us

Pangaea Schoolhouse was built around a simple belief: children grow best when they are truly known, deeply challenged, and genuinely cared for.

Inspired by the idea of Pangaea — many parts joined together as one — our schoolhouse reflects the belief that learning is strengthened when people, ideas, and perspectives come together in meaningful ways. Through a Christian worldview rooted in love, wisdom, and service, we encourage children to learn alongside one another, bring their gifts into the classroom, and grow in understanding together.

We wanted to create a school environment that feels both academically serious and deeply human — a place where each child is seen as a whole person and encouraged to grow in both knowledge and character.

Children are taught through clear, teacher-led instruction that builds strong academic foundations, while also applying what they learn through meaningful real-world experiences, collaboration, and hands-on challenges that help learning stay with them.

Over time, this model helps students develop not only academic mastery, but also independence, self-discipline, communication skills, and the confidence to contribute meaningfully in the world around them.

Research consistently shows that students retain and apply learning more effectively when they actively engage with the material through discussion, application, and hands-on experiences.

At Pangaea, this means children are not simply memorizing information for the next exam — they are learning how to think, solve problems, work with others, and take ownership of their growth.

Our goal is to help each child grow in knowledge, confidence, discipline, and purpose.

Learn deeply. Think independently. Grow with purpose.
